Red Wing M-1526, Charles Murphy Designer

Question:
A 14" tall footed vase, #M-1526, white on outside and soft green inside, it is fluted with straight lines from the bottom up to 9" and then the flutes are swirled. This fluting is both inside and out. Excellent condition: no chips, marks or discoloration. Found in my mother’s closet. I know she has had it a long time. Value? Who would want it? Jan

 

Answer: Hi Jan, it was designed in 1956, by Charles Murphy, that’s the "m". Value is around 50.00 or so on this one. thanks, steve n rose

I have 2 tureens and a coffee set by wood & sons,it is alpine ware in green and white with gold rims and with what looks like a wheat pattern,its fairly old probably 30s or 40s as thats when my aunt got married,but not sure, not been used much,I have been tempted to throw them away each time we have moved ! but now wonder if they are collectible?
