Red Wing M-1628, fleck nile blue
Question:
I have a vase that says RED WING U.S.A. M-1628 on the bottom. It’s kind of a tourqoise with small brown specks. It’s approx. 10" long and 5" high with an oval pointed pattern to it. It’s in excellent shape, no cracks or chips. Thank you. Rose
Answer: Hi Rose, Your vase is from around 1959. The glaze is called fleck nile blue. Value is around 20.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose

Rustic Dinnerware mug, Red Wing?
Question:
I have what I believe is a Village Green Mug but the handle instead of being a loop is more like a vertical rectangle Starting at the top of the mug then dropping down to about 3.5" from the top and then tapering back into the body of the mug. I have seen many pieces over the years and the glazes and colors are characterisrtic. It has a bit of a primitive feel to it but I always thought that was the idea. What have you to say? Jerry

Hi I have asked several people about this 25 gallon crock I have and no one can help me on it dont know what type croc or the company that made it it has been in the family forever and was wonderin if you can help me figure out what it is worth and what type any help would be appericated and one person had told me that it should have not been sold beacuse it was not exceptel to sell the sides are swollen and one side is higher then the other but the person at the kilm took it home and thats the story and you are the experts so cabn you help me plese and also it has no cracks or chips

3 gallon Large wing, shoulder jug
Question:
I have recently purchased a Red Wing jug at a yard sale. It has the number"3"(I’m assuming it means 3 gallon)below the "3" is a red wing stamp and below that is a blue oval stamp reading "Red Wing /Union Stoneware Co./ Red Wing, Minn. It is a pale grayish white stoneware with a single molded handle that starts at the neck and goes to the ridged shoulder of the jug. It has one small chip in the shoulder, otherwise it is in great condition. Thanks Patty
