Monkey Jug

Question:
Looking for someone to help identify a 1 gallon monkey jug that I have owned for several years. I asked at the last antique show here in Cedar Falls and a member suggested I contact the Society. It has a few markings on it, nothing on the bottom. F. USSER along with what appears to be Valley, MISS. is below the vent hole. These are all stamped letters and has been doubled stamped either after failure the first time or whatever. Thanks for any help that someone may offer.

Red Wing Vase #795

Question:
I am curious about this Atomic Red Wing Vase. I had a so called red wing pro who came over and looked through his books but was unable to find it. It is stamped Red Wing USA 795 on the bottom, I do have a photo of that also. it has no chips or scratches or damage. can you tell me anything about it? thanks so much Eric pearson

Red Wing Plate

Question:
Picked this up at estate auction – and am no pottery expert. I have my doubts about the piece for three reasons: 1. the crazing on the underside appears to be older than the paintig on the front side, 2. I can’t find it on any of the Red Wing websites, 3. There are wall hanger indentions (like it was hung before the paint dried) on the plate. PLEASE HELP .. don’t want to sell it on ebay if it is not real !! Peg

I have a Red Wing water cooler that is missing the lid. My cooler has a 6 on it. Several places I have looked all say only 5 or 8 gallon cooler were made. Where would I look to find the correct lid, and dosent the 6 mean 6 gallon?

Red Wing Bull Dog

Good afternoon, I was referred to your website & have a question regarding a Red Wing stoneware pottery item that I purchased at a estate sale sometime ago. I have a Red Ware stoneware "Bulldog" deep brown glaze & approx. 8 to 9 inches long. (large piece & is in wonderful condition) I’ve tried to find info. on this piece but….not as easy as it may seem. :( I’d like to know what the: Age, history & value $$ of this piece would be if at all possible ? I saw the EXACT photo of this bulldog on the Red Wing Pottery website & asked a Mr. "Jim Tyne" who suggested I further my question with your organization.
