My mother in Cadillac, Michigan recently passed a crock on to me. Photo attached. 11.5 inches high, 11 inches in diameter, light golden brown exterior, brown/black interior. My google searchs point to the possibility of it being a Red Wing. It has (as described on some web sites) a "lazy eight bee sting" mark with an apparent stylized number 4, with no other markings. I’d appreciate any help you could give me in identifying the maker, the crock’s age, and value. Thanks in advance. Doug Nystrom, Chicago.
Thank-you for your estimated value of my mother’s butter pail (sent to you just before Christmas.) I just found a couple small pictures and thought you may want to add them to the post (if possible.) Elena
Red Wing Jar/Crock.What is it worth? It is self-draining. The background color is grey and it has blue trim. The only other color is the red Red Wing hallmark symbol. It has its original wire handles and its original spigot. It is a 5 gallon or #5 crock, which is indicated right on the front of the piece. The jar measures 15 1/2" high. It is 11 3/4" at the opening on top. The drain hole is 1" in diameter. There are no cracks at all. There is one chip
A figurine marked rumrill and 576. Here is a picture of it. I have a figurine or figurine vase or candle holder marked rumrill and 576. it is a nude woman seated on a turtle. she is holding a vase-like item in her hand and that is where you could put a candle or some small flowers. it is about 10 inches tall and cream color. Is this item rare? What is its value?
