We have come across a Red Wing Crock with a #8 in the center & Union Stoneware Company Logo. The lid has what appears to be sunflowers going around it. It (crock) has some hairline cracks. I can remember my parents making sauerkraut in it..lol! Could you give me an approximate cost? Roberta

10 gallon Red WIng and 8 gallon UHL
Question:
Hello! I inherited two lovely crocks from my grandma and I would like to know their value please. So if you have any input I’d be grateful to hear it. The first is a 10 gal Redwing crock in beautiful condition except its missing the wooden handles and the inside bottom has a hairline in the glaze. The second is a UHL 8 gallon in great condition with handles intact but a few chips in the outside bottom rim. Thank you so much! Anna

15 gallon western crock

Hello. My husband was recently given this Western Stoneware Comoany 15 gallon crock. It doesn’t have a lid and the handles are missing (left side handle holder is broken) and is has about an 8" crsck also on the left side. We are curious about the approximate value as we were considering using it on our front porch (covered but not enclosed) but wasn’t sure if it was too valuable to leave outside?? After a rather cursory look at the website, I didn’t find any information on the sewer pipe made by Red Wing. I found a rather large piece (about 2 feel long and 1 foot wide) of stone glazed sewer pipe in the bush while on a hike, and it was stamped "Red Wing". I was wondering on an age range. Sandi
Answer: The sewer pipe was made in the late 1800s and was produced in Red Wing until the 1970s
3 gallon Red Wing Churn

I have had two red wing crocks for a long time and due to economics I must sell….One is a red wing butter churn in great condition and it a number "3"…..The other is a 10" by 10" crock also in great condition….I would like to know what they are worth and what do you think I could sell them for…. Answer: The 3 gallon butter churn in good condition and with the correct stoneware lid is valued at about $200-250.

Answer: I am not sure what your question is. Red Wing did not make these glass bottles.
20 gallon crock with a 6inch logo

Hi, I have a 20 gallon crock with a 6inch logo on the front. Patent on the side reads Dec 24th 1915. The handles have broke off and there are a few small cracks on the outside bottom. Do you have an idea the worth? I am selling on ebay but shipping fees are crazy. Wesley
