4 gallon lazy 8 crock

Question:
I just purchased a crock at an estate auction. After I won the man I was bidding against me asked if I knew anything about it. I didn’t other than I liked it. He told me it was a Red Wing Crock. I cannot find the mark online so I hope you can help me with age. It is 11 inches tall and the opening is about 10 3/4 inches. The handles are amazing and I love the brown glaze on the inside. The bottom isn’t marked but it’s concave. I heard someone mention that at the auction and they said it wasn’t Red Wing. I love it no matter what, but if I knew it’s history that would be welcomed information. Thank you! Kathryn

3 gallon salt glaze pedal lid

Question:
I have a 3 gallon salt glazed lid. I’m not sure if you can see it in the photo but it has a 3 on it and the daisy. As you can see it has a couple of issues but they are seem to be factory flaws. There are no chips or cracks on the underside but it has a factory flaw in it there as well. Any idea of value? – Thanks Jean

30 gallon Red Wing Crock

Question:
I have a 30 gallon red wing crock that we had in our old farm house. When we moved I took it with me but we really don’t use it so it just sits in our garage. The width is 20 3/4" and it’s 20 1/2" tall and in great condition. The red wing is under the 30# and below the red wing is an oval with the word Union Co., Minnesota. No date is on this crock which I find odd because your web site shows dates stamped on the crocks. I believe this was used as a salt container in the old farm house which was over 100 years old back in 1975. Can you tell me how much this may be worth? Just a ball park. If you need a picture, I can try and submit one but thought I’d just ask. Thank you for your time. Pat O.

Question:
My grandma gave me this piece. Looked around on internet & couldn’t find a similar piece. Is 5.5 in tall, base has diameter of 6 in. Has a lid, one pottery handle on side & a wire handle. On teh bottom is a circle logo that says "RED WING – Union Stoneware Co. – RED WING, MINN." It is in great shape – but needs cleaned up since it sat near my grandma’s stove for 30+ years. No chips or cracks. Any info you can provide would be great (age – value – etc.) Thanks so much

Question:
I have an 8 gallon crock that says Ice Water on the front with the number 8 above it. There is a cork in the hole on the bottom where there was possibly a spigot at one time. The crock has no cracks or chips at all, just the usual wear and tear I think you’d expect. Please let me know the value – I’ve included a photo. Teirney
