8 gallon Red Wing Water Cooler
Question:
I have this 8 Gal, RW water cooler. it appears to be hand thrown though i could be wrong it does not have handles nor is there a place for them and there is a cork where the spigot would be. no chips. there is a crack shaped like a crow foot to the left of the red wing. as u can see in the picture and there is no lid. would love to know more about this interesting piece. 4 gallon Elephant Ear Crock
Question:
I heard that the two birch leaf design was made prior to 1909 by Red Wing and these were made for Sears. I have a 4 gal. crock that has the number 4 with a line with 2 leafs that hang down from this line. There is no oval and has handles on the sides. I think these are called elephant ear handles. Am I correct on my answer? What is the value of this crock? Thank you. Tom

Greyline bowl follow up
Question:
This is for Al again. I am the lady with the 12" bowl. Did you look at the design on it? I believe it is suppose to be a band bowl. Not a sponge bowl. That is why I think it is a mistake and perhaps rare. Did a little research on the 12" sponge bowl and it was suppose to be a banded greyline bowl. They made a mistake and sponged it instead. A couple a questions if you’d be so kind for an assist on values. Current value for a flawless mint #4 koverwate. Blue 4 and blue edge label clearly stamped. Also a #3 zinc shoulder TRANSITION jug w/3 stamped on upper jug shoulder, ski oval, and nicely stamped btm "redwing union stoneware co." Mint, no smears, sharp redwing stamp and oval. Thanks. Alan
