5 gallon Red Wing Crock
Question:
I have a crock that I am looking for some information about. I met a gentleman at an antique show that was selling books about Red Wing Crocks and could not tell me much about it.
The crock is a 5 gallon I beleive milk holder. It is 11" in diameter and is straight up for 12". It then tapers to an opening of 6 1/2". It has the original wire and wooden handle. It also has the original stoneware top. I was told because of the Red Wing emblem that is on it, the products date is from 1915 to 1930.
I currently have terminal cancer and will need to sell it. Can you give me any idea what it might be worth and if anyone in your organization might be interested?
I am afraid I have dial-up so can not attach a picture at this time. I could ask a friend to send one if needed. Thanks, Carla
