12 gallon Red Wing stoneware crock
Question:
It has a patent date of 12-31-1915. It is 16.5 inches in diameter and 17.5 inches tall. The original handles are present. The ‘ears’ of the handles are in tact. It is a 12 gallon crock. It reads ‘Red Wing Union Stoneware’…which I think means that it the pre-dates 1936 switchover to another name. Where can I go to sell something like this for some value. 5 gallon Red Wing Shoulder Jug
Question:
Here is a another piece to a collection I found. It’s got a jug like top, with one chip you can see below the company marking. Can you tell me what it’s worth, and when it was made? I’m not a collector of pottery, just a one man storage operation. These were in a unit that was abandoned. Can you tell me where the best place to market these would be? If they have antique value….I’d like them in the hands of a collector. Thanks, Will

Hello, I have a 10 gallon Redwing crock with no cracks and the 10, the wing and the oval are all aligned. the handles have the wire handles still on them and on one of the sides it says "Patent Pending".
