I’ve attached pictures of a crock that my husbands mother made pickles in. It has metal and wood handles and a lid. The only chip is on the lid. Can you tell me anything about it and what the value might be. The stamp that says "Patented in 1916 or 1917 I believe, I’ve attached a picture. We have a 5 gallon Red Wing Crock Markings are :- a large blue 5 at top – a large Red Wing in the center – a blue oval stamp 2 1/4 x 1 1/2 which is difficult to read but I believe it says : " RED WING " " UNION STONEWARE CO " " ???? My Grandmother passed away and I got some of her crocks. She has some very mint condition red wings. This is a 4 gallon red wing union butter churn with lid and stick. No chips or nicks. I need to clean the front which you will see in the picture. Something spilt down it a bit. It has the oval above the birch leaves. No ski oval though. Can you please approximate its value for me?
