Bob White Pitcher, 12 inch

Question:
We wondered the value of a Red Wing USA 12 inch tall pitcher with a partridge painted on one side and waterlily pods on the other. See photo attached. It is in excellent condition. How do I view the response on the website. Never done this before. Must I pay to be a member? Kay

Normandy Apple plates

Question:
My mother left me with some Red Wing Dishes. I know they are Red Wing because they say so on the back and have the red wind painted on all of them. The only other writing on the back says hand painted. There are 4ea of the 6" plates, 4ea of the 10" plates and 1 of a 14" platter. The design on the plates are an apple. Any idea if these are worth anything and how would I go about selling for the best price if they are?? Kay

Capistrano Divided Veggie tray

Question:
I acquired a stamped on bottom Red Wing dish with 2 sections, each has what appears to be a black and yellow bird with fruit. The pottery has a screen texture with white glaze. It measures 13 1/2" x 8". What can you tell me about this piece? Thanks. Kendra

Answer: Capistrano was introduced in 1953 and was made into the early 1960s. This pattern was designed by Charles Murphy. Murphy was Red Wing’s principal designer from 1941 until the close of the business in 1967. Value for this pitcher is $50-75 if it in excellent, undamaged condition. The value below for your pieces is based on mint condition.

Divided Vegetable Dish $20-25

Any damage (chips, cracks, crazing, hairlines) will diminsh the value by more than half.

Red Wing bowl

Question:
I have a Red Wing bowl I picked up at a yard sale years ago just because we liked the look of it. It is marked Red Wing USA on the bottom. It is 12"x11"X6" and a speckled tan color. Not only is it oblong but the top rim actually has a wave to it. There is a 1/4" chip on the bottom base and about 1/16" (or smaller) chip on the top rim. Both are not easily visible unless one tries to find them. Otherwise the condition is good.

Unmarked Dinnerware similar to Blossom Time

Question:
Is there any Red Wing items that are unmarked? I have a consignment piece that is a coffee pot, creamer and sugar that have no markings on them. However, the pattern on top of the sugar bowl is exactly like the Blossom Time serving bowl I have. Don’t have my camera with me today.

It is approx 8" tall and 9" wide. Thank you. Rebecca

“Chef Pierre” Salt and Pepper Shakers

Question:
Hi, I see lots of information about the Red Wing Chef Pierre Cookie Jar, but nothing on the Salt and Pepper shakers. I have a set that is the red (pink), that is just like the cookie jar. They are about 5" tall with the S & P on the belly and marked U.S.A. on the back of his hat or head, no marking on the bottom. I would think that they were made about the same time as the cooking jars so most interested in the value. No chips cracks or stains, no stoppers. Sorry no photo. Thanks for any help Sam W.
