I have a Red Wing Sewer Pipe sample which doesn’t have a bottom like I’ve seen.  It’s about 3″ by 2-1/2″.  On one side it reads:  “Compliments Red Wing Sewer Pipe Co Red Wing, MN.”  On the other side it reads:  “Our pipe has the most Vitrified Body, Best Glazed, Truer to circle and is and is much stronger than any pipe made”

Could you help with age, value and what it was supposed to be used for.  Thank You Very Much!

Tom, you have the rarer Red Wing sewer pipe sample.  The Red Wing Sewer pipe Co was in business from1901 to the 1970’s.  Value on your sewer pipe sample is between $200 & $250.  Al Kohlman
