Question:

I found this crock while cleaning out my grandma’s attic. How would I tell if it is worth anything or a reproduction?
I do not see a stamp anywhere :(

Answer:

Christine, your 3 gallon salt glazed butter churn is not a reproduction.  I am not sure if it is Red Wing by what I can see in the photo, but either way it still has value.  Value would be in the range of $200 to $300 if there is no cracks or major chips.  Al Kohlman
