Question:
I found the jug pictured below at my mothers and know nothing about it. I can’t seem to find anything on the web to tell me even what it was used for let alone what it might be worth. The label on the bottom says Union Stoneware Co Red Wing so it appears to have been made between 1906-1936. It is approx 11" tall and 6" in diameter. The top has threads and appears to be metal. Any information you can give me would be great. I can provide more pictures if necessary. Gordon

Answer: Gordon, you have a Red Wing hot water bottle or (foot warmer). This style was produced between 1900 * 1920. In perfect condition, the value is between $275 & $300. Al Kohlman
