Question:
I inherited an antique T. Harrington Lyons crock/butter churn. The name is impressed into the front in blue. There is a 4 (I assume 4-gallon) and blue leaves/flower. It is 14" tall and 10" in diameter at the widest point. Do you know what this floral design would be called (what type of flower or leaves)? What would be the estimated value? In researching this, it appears to be from the mid to late 1850’s. Thank you, Sue

Answer: Sue, your 4 gallon churn is Eastern and not Red Wing. Not being Red Wing or Wisconsin stoneware, I have no idea of history or value. Sorry, Al Kohlman
