Question:
I picked this piece up at a sale today and am curious as to wether it is red wing brushed ware. It is 9 3/4" tall and 7 1/2" wide. It is a barrel with a wooden peg in the hole in the center and also a hole on top with a cork. I don’t see any marks anywhere and it is in great shape. The color is a darkish brown, the color of cholcolate milk. The picture doesn’t show the true color. Any info would be a help. Thanks Ann

Answer: Sorry Ann, but your stoneware barrel is not Red Wing. I have no idea of who produced it or it’s value. Al Kohlman
