Question:
We have a 5 gallon Red Wing Crock Markings are :- a large blue 5 at top – a large Red Wing in the center – a blue oval stamp 2 1/4 x 1 1/2 which is difficult to read but I believe it says : " RED WING " " UNION STONEWARE CO " " ???? " " RED WING MINN " as per the attached 2 photos. Please advise authenticity and approx value. Thank you, Jack & Delores

Answer: Jack & Delores, you have a vintage Red Wing Stoneware 5 gallon butter churn. It was produced between 1916 or so till 1930. Without the lid and in perfect condition the value is between $200 & $250. Nice lookin churn. Al Kohlman
