Hot Water Bottle Red Wing Union Stoneware Co Red Wing MINN

Question:
I received two foot warmers that belonged to my grandmother. The stamp on the bottom says, "Red Wing Union Stoneware Co Red Wing MINN. They are glazed brown, have the original caps, and both have fluid in them since I’ve never opened either one. They are triangular in shape, and one has a small chip on it. My dad said that grandma used them when riding in the horse and buggy cart to keep their feet warm. I can’t find any pictures similar to what I have, so I’m wondering when they may have been made.

Answer: These Red Wing triangular foot warmers were produced in the 1920’s. Al Kohlman
