I have a #2 Red wing Union stoneware crock. The wing and the oval are reversed with the oval in middle and 4 inch wing on bottom. Does this make it any more "special". Karen

Answer: Karen, your 2 gallon Red Wing crock is called a reversed oval crock. This is where the oval is placed above the red wing. These are much harder to find than the standard 2 gallon Red Wing crocks and therefore the values are higher. Value is between $75 & $125 on these pieces depending on how dark and well marked they are. Al Kohlman
