This is a small (about 2-1/2 inches tall) ceramic piece with "Red Wing Sewerpipe Corp Red Wing Minn" on the face of it. Was it a specialty piece? I got it from my grandfather in Red Wing, Minnesota.

Answer: The Red Wing sewer pipe enterprise was very profitable and went on to the 1970’s. These mini sewer pipes were used as advertisements. In mint condition yours would have a value around $50. Al Kohlman
