we recently purchased this 5-gallon salt-glazed jug. would you be able to comment on the possibility of it being red wing? thanks for your time.

Answer: The shape of your 5 gallon salt glaze jug does have the chararistics of a Red Wing beehive jug. If I had a photo of the handle where it attaches to the back side of the jug, it would better help me out with this decision. Sometimes just seeing one photo makes it somewhat hard to truely provide an accurate answer or discription. Hope this is of some help. Al Kohlman
