Orange Pitcher, with stoneware mold

Link Link This 7 3/4" tall, 5 1/2" diameter pitcher was made in a mold I normally associate with saffron ware or sponge band pitchers. There are no markings on the bottom, only 3 stilt marks. I’d like to know the proper name for this and have any idea of a BV? I do have more pictures available. Bill

Answer: Bill, I do not collect these pitchers, but have seen plenty of the Saffron & Sponge Band pitchers and have sold my share of them. However, this is the first orange pitcher I have seen. It has all the chararistics of these two types of Red Wing pitchers. I would think the value would be in the area of $200 to $250. Just a guess, but how many of these have you ever seen. Al Kohlman
