I have a five gallon crock with 2 leaves on the front, and a stamp for the Red Wing Union Stoneware company. It is in great shape, with no cracks. What info can you give me on this piece

Answer: You have an early Red Wing 5 gallon crock which was manufactured between 1895 & 1909. It has the first ski oval which collectors like. However, the stamp is somewhat light and the birch leaves are not fully printed. These two areas hurt the value. Value between $65 & $95. Al Kohlman
