Question:
Just picked up this spoutless pitcher at an estate sale in Florida. It was tagged as Red Wing. Any information would be appreciated. It is creamy yellow in color with rust and blue sponging, and three rust bands. Measures about 8 inches tall, and looks like it would hold about a gallon of liquid. No chips or cracks. The foot ring does have some small nicks. There a few spots where the glaze is thin or missing. No markings. Thank you.

Answer: I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but your pitcher is not Red Wing. This is the first one of its kind I have seen and therefore have no information on it. Sorry, Al Kohlman
