Question:
I have 3 Red Wing Pottery Pitchers and a photo for each. Have not a clue about any of them or what the value may be. The first is a large pitcher and on the bottom it says patten pending. Cinday
Answer: The item in the photo included here is a Fondoso 70oz tilt pitcher. Fondoso was one of four patterns in Red Wing’s extensive Gypsy Trail dinnerware line. The "Patent Pending" mark is commonly found on this pattern. Fondoso was introduced in 1938 and produced for several years into the early 1940s. The color of your pitcher is Pastel Blue. Value for this pitcher in excellent condition would be $60-80. Chips, flakes, cracks, hairlines or stains would reduce the value considerably.
