Question:
I have a Rumrill ball pitcher that is yellow and its 7 inches tall and 6 1/2 wide. There is a crack above the spout. Could you tell me please, how much is it worth. Christien
Answer: Red Wing made two ball pitchers that were marked RumRill. One has an ice stop at the spout and has the number 547 on the bottom. The same pitcher marked Red Wing was also made. The other RumRill ball pitcher has a round hole for a spout and a ceramic and cork stopper. This pitcher is marked with the number 50 on the bottom. Value for a yellow 547 pitcher would be $35-50; a yellow 50 pitcher complete with stopper would be $50-60. Both values assume excellent condition. The crack will reduce the value of your pitcher by 25 to 75% depending on the size and visibility of the crack.
