I have a bunch of red wing pottery but I don’t know its worth. I want to sell it. There are dinner plates, salad plates, bowls, a pitcher. It’s Blue and brown. I wish I had a picture but I don’t, sorry. Do you know of a place I could take the pottery into to get appraised? Thanks Christina

Answer: An antique dealer would tell you what he or she would offer to pay for your items. If you live in the Red Wing area there are many dealers knowledgeable about Red Wing pottery. And there are knowledgeable dealers and collectors all over the country, especially in the Midwest. We can provide an unbiased assessment of value here at Ask the Experts, but I’d need a photo or a much more detailed description of your items.
