2013 Show and Sale Contract – ST-19 Form
Seller Information:

All Sellers and Helpers for Show and Sale must be members of the RWCS and registered for the 2013 Convention.

Sellers that did not participate in 2012 must submit the Minnesota Operator’s Certificate of Compliance Form – ST-19 with their sellers contract.

NEW FOR 2013: EVERY SELLER HAS FIRST RIGHT TO THEIR 2102 LOCATION FOR 2013.
On the sellers contract you have the opportunity to indicate up to three table locations that you would like to set up in. In addition, space will be provided to note who you would like your table to be near or away from. The RWCS Executive Director will use this as a guideline to your table location for the 2013 Show and Sale.
Show and Sale Hours:
Move In:
Friday, July 12 – two opportunities
9:00 am to 10:00 am or 2:15 pm to 3:00 pm
*** NO set up may occur on Friday
Move in and Set up:
Saturday, July 13 – 8:00 am to 9:00 am
SHOW HOURS: 9:00 am to 1:30 pm
9:00 am Register Attendee Entrance
10: 30 am Open to the Public
About the RWCS Show and Sales
The Red Wing collectors Society has two annual Show and Sale events – MidWinter and Convention. Both events one day show and sales are on Saturday at the event location.
MidWinter- Is currently held in Des Moines, IA, the Show and sale has over 40 sellers tables at the event. This show is open to the public.
Convention – The Show and Sale at the Convention is at Red Wing High School the Saturday of Convention. The Convention Show and Sale has over 100 sellers at the event each year. The show opens to members early and the public is welcome to later.

Vendors
All members of the RWCS are welcome to contract for a Sellers Table at either Show and Sale. There are three types of vendors allowed at the Show and Sale.
Antiques (90%) – Items for sale must be 90% American-made antique pottery or related to the City of Red Wing or pottery collecting. The remaining items may consist of a newer value. The exhibitor agrees not to misrepresent any merchandise or to use the name
of Red Wing Collectors Society on any items not produced by RWCS
Souvenirs/Reproductions (90%)- Items for sale must be 90% souvenirs or reproductions related to the City of Red Wing or pottery. The remaining items may consist of antiques American-made pottery or other related to pottery collecting. The exhibitor agrees not to misrepresent any merchandise or to use the name of Red Wing Collectors Society on any items not produced by RWCS.

Educational Materials (Convention Only)- Items for sale must be educational and no souvenirs! No pottery, stoneware, or souvenir items may be sold. Examples include:History of Red Wing, Goodhue County and the Potteries, books about pottery, catalogs, reprints of original literature and document, written scholarly research, photos, price guides, magazine articles about pottery, etc. All items must be sold only from the seller’s table. Set up by 9 a.m. and arrange to have a seller at the table during selling times. There is no selling during the Annual Business Meeting. Educational tables have the option of selling on Thursday, Friday or both days. Education Tables are not available on Saturday on the Gym floor.
