Question: What can you tell me about this 4 gallon crock, it is in good shape with no chips or cracks. Hoping to get infomration about the time frame, usages and value of this crock. Thanks for all you help. Shane
Answer: Shane, your Red Wing 4 gallon crock was manufactured between 1909 & 1915. It would have been used for canning or preserving meats, vegetables and fruits. Value is around $70 if it is in perfect condition. Very nice markings on your piece which helps it's value. Al Kohlman |
