Blue Star Brown and White Stoneware piece, Ohio pottery

This piece has been passed down through the years and I have been told it is Red Wing Pottery and is a butter churn. Could you please let me know if it is and its value. It has a handle on the opposite side of the marking. Thanks much in advance! Micki

Answer: Micki, your churn is not Red Wing. It is from Ohio. Not being a collector of Ohio, I just have no idea of history or value. Sorry. Al Kohlman
