Lanterns Pattern cream soup bowls |
Question:
 I have acquired a set of 4 cereal/dessert bowls. They are the Lantern pattern and have double handles. They are in perfect condition. No chips, no wear. I am curious about their value. I am not a collector, but have been doing "Red Wing research"! Thank you for any help you might be able to provide. Lou Ann
Answer: These bowls are from the Lanterns dinnerware pattern but they are not cereal bowls. They are cream soup bowls and each should have a matching cover. Collectors seek complete units and any item with missing parts will have less value. A Lanterns cream soup bowl with cover in excellent condition would be worth around $20. A bowl without the cover might be worth around $5.
