Question:
I have six plates that I am sure are Ceramatone pattern, maybe hearthstone beige. Bottom reads "Red Wing Hand Painted Overproof U.S.A. 217. I have seven cups and four saucers, the pattern is same as plates but they are chocolate brown. Could I email someone pictures so I could identify for sure? Thanking you in advance, Anna Dransman
Answer: The items shown in your photos (sent separately) are indeed from the Ceramastone line. There were six patterns made in the Ceramastone shape. The dinner plate in your photo is from Hearthstone Beige pattern. The dark brown cups and saucers would go with either the Hearthstone Beige or the Heatherstone patterns. Both patterns used the same color for cups and saucers. |
