15 gallon elephant ear

Question:
How common is the 15 gallon elephant ear crock? This one is unique in that the 15 is in blue script and the leaves are black. I understand condition makes a difference but what would the approx. value be? Thanks

Answer: A blue 15 and black Elephant ears is different. Without seeing a photo of your piece I would guess the value would be in the range of $300 to $400 if in Mint condition and all decorations balanced and striking. Al Kohlman
