Question:
I have 3 chef cookie jars. A blue one and beige with the red wing stamp and a yellow one with the stamp and numbers. I read that there is a green one also. What would the collection go for if you had all four. I love them all. I grew up with the blue one as our cookie jar. All are in execellent condition. Thank you, Bonnie

Answer: A chef cookie jar in excellent condition would be worth around $75 to $100 in the yellow or tan colors, with another $25 or so for blue.  A green Chef Pierre cookie jar is worth $250-300. There are also rare fleck pink and fleck blue Chef jars made briefly in the mid-1950s. I've also seen white Chef jars but have not found documentation in company brochures.
