Question:
Hello, Is this jug Red Wing? What can you tell us about it? It\'s 14 inches tall, the handle is broken, and there are a few chunks out of the bottom and the lip around the opening. The artwork seems very unusual. Thank you for your help with this! Ann |

Question:
Is my item a Red Wing? It was handed down to me from a grandmother who collected many different things. So I know it is old. The memo was inside of the jar when I got it but some of the letters have worn off. The plunger is 19" tall and the crock is 9" tall, the bottom is 7" across and the top lip is 6 1/2 " across. I can't make out any identifying marks on the bottom. The note reads "ONE OF THE SCARCE ONES - A 1/4 SIZE CHURN - FROM ABOUT 1900-POSSIBLY A BIT EARLIER" At the top is the name of it but I can't make it out. Please tell me as much as you can about it. Thanks Mary |
