Flower Pot
Question: Image
Can you tell me anything about this pot? Thank you. Sorry about the size, I'm not sure how to make it bigger. Thanks Bev

Answer:
Hi Bev, Your picture is fine, although a size for your flower pot would help! It is shape 445, and was made for several years, in many glazes. Believe yours is cypress green which would date it to 1959-60. The value would be around 20-25. thanks, steve n rose

Bowl #1348
Question:
I found a Red Wing piece which is numbered (1348). I was wondering about an approximate value it may have. It is in rather good condition but has some superficial fine cracks inside the piece.

I didn't know anything about Red Wing till today and I'm fasinated by the history.

Your time and info is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Janet

Answer:
Janet, you have a low bowl, circa late 1940's. Worth around 15-20. A fairly common shape. Red Wing has something for everyone--stoneware, dinnerware, and art pottery. A multitude of shapes and colors most people aren't familiar with. Thanks, steve n rose
