For every NEW PRIMARY MEMBER that a current RWCS Member recruits to join the RWCS between now and July 1, 2008, your name will be entered in to a drawing to win free Society membership for one year and registration to either the 2009 MidWinter GetTogether or the July Convention.
Any member that recruits five or more NEW PRIMARY MEMBERS to the RWCS during the program will automatically have their membership renewed for free for one year!
This program is also open to all RWCS Chapters!
The Chapter with the most NEW PRIMARY MEMBERS joining the Society will have first bragging rights to the traveling Little Brown Jug of Membership. This trophy will be presented at the 2008 Convention and the program will be an annual event.
Whether they Join Online , send in an Application, or apply over the phone it is simple! They just need write the referral information:
Name and/or membership number for the referring current member
Name of the Chapter referring the new member

The Full Board of the RWCS met in Red Wing, MN on November 3. Items that where discussed included Open Board positions, Bi-Law revisions, and the 2008 Operation Budget.
Members may view the 2008 Budget and Full Board Meeting minutes by logging into the RWCS Website and clicking on the Meeting Minutes and Budget & Finanical tabs on the menu bar. This information will also be available to all member in an up coming issue of the RWCS Newsletter.
The Education Manager, Terry Speedy has released the Education Sessions for MidWinter along with the Key Note Address information.
The MidWinter GetTogether Keynote will be one you won't want to miss. RWCS Member Dave Kuffel will be talking about the recently discovered and preserved Red Wing Potteries Ledger Book. Attend MidWinter and learn all about the latest information regarding the Ledger book!
In addition, their will be education session regarding art pottery, salt glaze, ebay, recent dump finds. The RWCS Business Office has recieved so much positive feedback on the Online Membership Services, Bonnie Myers will be offering a session to show everyone what this new service has to offer you the member.
There was such a positive response to the KidsView program in 2007 we are forging ahead with another program "Clowning Around". The kids will have the opportunity to paint Clown faced mugs and other great projects. More information come soon.

Chapter President Steve Splittgerber announces the next meeting of the Nebraska RedWingers will be held in the Home of Rex and Pat Lucke, 2827 Cimarron Circle, Elkhorn, NE, on December 9th, 2007 at 12:00 Noon.
